We create the conditions for genuine interactions and insightful conversation in online spaces by improving our ability to set the appropriate tone (Chomette, 2019).




First of all, the episode emphasizes the need of being clear in online communication and highlights the need to create messages that are brief and simple to comprehend (Chomette, 2019). This is consistent with what we've discussed in class regarding the value of clarity in writing, especially when it comes to emails and online messaging. As discussed in the "Communication and Technology" chapter of our book, clear communication reduces misconceptions and guarantees that the intended message is successfully sent to the recipient (Green, 2017).

Furthermore, the podcast explores the topic of sustaining interest and establishing a connection in online meetings and presentations (Chomette, 2019). This has a direct connection to the strategies we have been discussing in class to increase engagement in online meetings. As we saw in our chapter "Interviewing Successfully," some of these strategies include using notes strategically, smiling and expressing ourselves nonverbally, and maintaining eye contact through the camera (Green, 2017).

In essence, the podcast serves not only as a reaffirmation of our class concepts but also as a catalyst for deeper exploration. By intertwining the insights from this podcast episode with our coursework, we can further enhance our understanding of effective online communication and develop practical skills that are essential for success in various online contexts.

I believe that different social networks have different advantages and disadvantages. For instance, Instagram is used to share photos and videos with your followers, while LinkedIn is used to connect with people in the business world. As we can see, these two platforms serve different purposes and, as a result, offer different benefits—one helps us find jobs, while the other lets us share our photos and videos with friends and the world. While there are plenty of benefits to this, there are also many disadvantages, such as the possibility that we may become addicted to the social network, which could be detrimental to our physical and emotional well-being. Apple Does the company do a good job communicating on its website and social media platforms? Provide examples. Apple has a very straightforward and appealing website, and they are very active on social media. For instance, they have 32 million Instagram followers and share amazing photos taken with their iPhones to show people the kind of images you can take with their product. I think Apple does a great job at communicating on these platforms. On the company website, what is featured at the top, in the middle, and at the bottom of the home page? Why do you think they have it organized this way? In your opinion, is it effective?
