About Me

Hi there, I'm Dana. I'm a psychology major in my first year of college, and I'm taking this course to fulfill a requirement for my baccalaureate core. I'm thrilled to be a part of this program and am eager to learn more about communicating online. I'm a Mexican located on the Gulf Coast of Mexico. I love traveling, spending time with my pets, and I especially enjoy going to the beach.

I recently made a friend, but the problem is that I live in Mexico while my friend lives in the United States. Despite this, we have been able to communicate through Whatsapp and other apps. Our friendship has become closer than any of my in-person friendships, and I believe this is because it's easier to start up a conversation online and we can express our emotions without fear of being judged. We may feel safer talking online because we aren't seeing each other's faces, which has encouraged us to be more vulnerable and disclose emotional or personal issues. Oversharing Online

I believe that different social networks have different advantages and disadvantages. For instance, Instagram is used to share photos and videos with your followers, while LinkedIn is used to connect with people in the business world. As we can see, these two platforms serve different purposes and, as a result, offer different benefits—one helps us find jobs, while the other lets us share our photos and videos with friends and the world. While there are plenty of benefits to this, there are also many disadvantages, such as the possibility that we may become addicted to the social network, which could be detrimental to our physical and emotional well-being. There isn't an ideal number of Facebook friends, in my opinion, that can help people's mental health. Apple Does the company do a good job communicating on its website and social media platforms? Provide examples. Apple has a very straightforward and appealing website, and they are very active on social media. For instance, they have 32 million Instagram followers and share amazing photos taken with their iPhones to show people the kind of images you can take with their product. I think Apple does a great job at communicating on these platforms. On the company website, what is featured at the top, in the middle, and at the bottom of the home page? Why do you think they have it organized this way? In your opinion, is it effective? The header at the top allows you to select the product you wish to view, like is the mac, iPad, iPhone, watch, vision, airpods, etc. Their newest iPhone and watches are featured in the middle along with brief messages and images.
